What We Do

The Weston Parent Advisory Council for Special Education (Weston PAC) is a group of parents committed to:

  • Providing advocacy, information, and community connection for families who have a child in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school receiving special education services in Weston. We are an all-volunteer group that welcomes parents, educators, service providers, and interested community members.
  • Working collaboratively with the School Committee, administrators, and faculty to continuously improve the experience of students receiving special education services in Weston.
  • Offering information, tools, and support to parents of children with special needs.

We invite you to join the PAC and hope that you will find community connection, knowledge, and assistance.

What's happening now...

Special Film Screening - Swim Team - The Film, April 12th at 7pm, WMS APC

Do you love to swim? Would you like to better understand students with autism or Tourette's Syndrome? Have you considered the challenges of families and children with special needs after the school day ends? Have you thought about whether a student should graduate from high school with his or her class, or remain in the district to continue to receive special education services?

Swim Team addresses all of these topics with honesty and grace. Please join us for a 7:00pm WPS and Weston PAC screening of the film on April 12th at Weston Middle School, in the Amy Potter Center.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to language and content, this film is best suited for parents, guardians, and students of upper middle school and high school age. Please contact with any questions.

Weston PAC Meetings

All of our meetings are open to the public. We encourage you to attend to learn more about our events and what is happening with Special Education in our schools.
