VOLUNTEER WITH US!
Accessibility to our schools through a PTO-sponsored volunteer position is a valued benefit of membership.
This year the PTO is rolling out a new membership and volunteer sign-up process using a program called MySchoolAnywhere. Please follow instructions sent by email from 'Weston PTO' to renew this year. Once your membership is activated you will use a separate link to access the My School Anywhere volunteer sign up system.
Get involved! Everyone is encouraged to attend our monthly board meetings which start each year in September where you can meet committee chairs and find out about volunteer roles.
ROOM PARENT VOLUNTEERS
If you intend to sign up for a room parent role, please read these instructions for room parent volunteering:
- Join/Renew PTO membership on or before July 30 and use the MySchoolAnywhere system to access the volunteer signups.
- In mid-August, school PTO chairs and school principals will assign two room parents per classroom.
- Room Parent assignments are finalized and communicated before the start of school. Room parents are expected to assist the PTO and the room teacher with Back to School Night.
- Even if you are not assigned a Room Parent position, we hope you will volunteer and work with your child's room and school when asked during the school year!
