What We Do
The PTO Science and Math Council (SAMC) leverages the scientific expertise of Weston parents and the outside community to support the K-12 science and math curriculum in the Weston Public Schools. We bring enrichment and supplemental programs into the schools based upon the needs and requests of the faculty. We organize large events, source speakers, and fully participate in various science and math projects. Upcoming projects include the launch of the new high school science wing, the 5th grade Science Inspirations Fair, the 10th grade biology mentoring program, the Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Mathematics (STEAM) Night, the Museum of Science speakers, and much more. Please join us and help enrich the science and math experience for all in Weston. Check the weekly PTO Westword newsletter for announcements about upcoming meetings and events.
