Community Outreach is responsible for bringing community service and giving opportunities to the school community. In addition to running the annual UNICEF program and Thanksgiving Food Drive for Bristol Lodge Food Pantry in Waltham, the committee coordinates donation drives for local non-profit agencies such as Cradles to Crayons and Hope and Comfort. Community Outreach also hosts an ice cream social for new students and their families before the start of the school year, usually in late August.

2016 TRICK- OR-TREAT FOR UNICEF - KIDS HELPING KIDS®
Make a difference this Halloween! UNICEF boxes will be distributed in the Weston elementary schools on Friday, October 29th. Last year, we raised nearly $3,000 which helped UNICEF provide children around the world with medicine, nutrition, clean water, emergency relief and education! Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated. (Just $15 can provide a child with clean, safe water for one year.) Children should return the boxes to their homeroom teachers or to their school's main office by Friday, November 4th. For further information, please contact Elizabeth Soares at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lisa Astley-Sparke at email@example.com.
Weston PTO's 2016 Thanksgiving Food Drive for Bristol Lodge
The Weston PTO is holding it's annual Thanksgiving Drive for Bristol Lodge Food Pantry and Homeless Shelters of Waltham. Starting the first week of November, children may bring in donations to the designated collection bins in the Country, Woodland, and Field Schools. The goal is to collect at least 2,000 items from each scholl. Second graders will be counting, sorting, and graphing the results.
